TIANMEI Built-in Hood Wins GPDP Innovation Award

The 2022 Grand Prix Design Paris (GPDP) Award results were announced in March 2023: TIANMEI's ceiling-built-in range hood, chosen from tens of thousands of entries, was honoured with the Innovation Award of the 2022 GPDP international design prize.

Founded in 1951, the French Design Institute's Janus du Design is regarded as one of the "Oscars" of industrial design. The GPDP Award recognises products meeting its international 5E design standards across architecture, interior design and product design.

Unlike conventional wall-mounted hoods, the winning product is a flush-mounted built-in unit with a flat, minimalist surface that merges seamlessly with modern kitchen interiors, freeing up wall space and improving living comfort — a design direction that has since become one of TIANMEI's core product lines.
